Talia Zucker is an Australian filmmaker & actor. She is a fellow of the Sundance Screenwriters Lab and an alumna of the AFI Directing Workshop for Women.

Her feature IN VITRO which she wrote and acted in, received production funding from Screen Australia & Screen NSW. In Vitro played at Sydney Film Festival, MIFF, Warsaw, Glasgow and won the Dark Matters Jury Award at Austin Film Festival. The film was released by Madman Entertainment and is currently available to stream on Stan.

Talia completed her short film CHILD through the AFI Directing Workshop for Women. The film had its world premiere at BFI London Film Festival as one of 12 shorts to play in the official shorts competition. CHILD also received the Radiator IP Award at the Torino Film Festival.

Talia was the recipient of the Screen NSW’s She Directs was also selected to take part in the Universal Directors Initiative.

Her new script, MOTHER INSTINCT, was recently a finalist in AACTA’s Wake in Fright development initiative with Umbrella & Sanctuary Pictures.

As an actor she is best known for playing Alice Palmer in Joel Anderson’s cult horror film LAKE MUNGO.
